Our Story
Mattie & Joe's story began at a UNC football tailgate under the Bell Tower. When Mattie and Joe met on a perfect Carolina day, Joe was clearly smitten and didn’t hold back, even going so far as to “propose” with a napkin ring, telling her, “I’m going to marry you one day.”
At the time, she wasn’t quite convinced—but she did agree to one date. Not long after, they officially started dating… and the rest is history!
