Evan and Matti aren’t exactly sure how they first met; they’ve always known of each other through church and mutual friends. In God’s perfect timing, He slowly nurtured their friendship through shared interests, and eventually, Evan asked Matti out on a date. It quickly became clear to both of them that God had a plan and had been shaping them into who they needed to be for each other long before they officially met. After many Chili’s dates, concerts, and even adopting a puppy together, Matti and Evan knew this was the real deal. Evan proposed to Matti at the Dallas Arboretum, the same place where they shared their second date. Their relationship has been an answered prayer, and they are excited to begin this new chapter together.
