Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

To keep our wedding a special and intimate celebration, we can only accommodate those who are formally invited. If you were given a plus one, their name will be included on your invitation and listed when you RSVP on our website. Thank you for understanding!

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, due to limited space, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of our wedding party and immediate family members. We hope this advanced notice means you are still able to celebrate with us and will enjoy having the evening off!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is a gravel lot on the south side of the venue. The lot has limited space, so we recommend carpooling if possible. There is also a handicap parking area on the east side of the venue.

Are the ceremony and reception at the same venue? Will events be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place at The Wilds in Bloomington, IN. The ceremony will take place outdoors under a covered pavilion, and the reception will take place indoors. Cocktail hour will be outdoors (uncovered) if weather permits.

What is the dress code?

Answer

While there is no strict dress code, we encourage our guests to dress in a way that makes them feel confident and ready to celebrate with us! For women, this could mean a lovely sundress or a casual cocktail dress. For men, we recommend a button-down shirt with dress pants, a nice polo, or a more relaxed suit without the need for a tie.

What food will be served?

Dinner will be a barbecue buffet catered by Crouch's Meats, including pulled chicken, brisket, green beans, macaroni and cheese, and mashed potatoes.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Please have a plan to get home safely. Cars can be left at the venue overnight if retrieved by 10:00 am the following morning. Absolutely no outside alcohol is permitted at the venue.
