Topgolf is a game that anyone can play (and win)! Score points by hitting microchipped golf balls at giant dartboard-like targets. Matthias and Jasmine love going here and recommend the "classic" game!
Romare Bearden Park
A beautiful park in the center of the city. Grab some lunch and picnic in the park. The park has beautiful fountains, lights, and music to play. Matthias and Jasmine used to live next to this park and would go on walks here all the time. Pro-Tip: At night, the fountains flash colorful lights!
The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery & Biergarten
Visit Charlotte's oldest and largest craft brewery and beer garden! Matthias recommends the OMB Copper while Jasmine prefers the Radler.
Discovery Place Kids Science Musuem
Discovery Place is dedicated to inspiring exploration of science and the natural world through extraordinary exhibits and educational programs that inform, challenge and engage audiences of all ages. Jasmine took her class here on a field trip. The students loved it and there is plenty to learn, see, and interact with!
Crowders Mountain State Park
Crowders Mountain is one of two main peaks within Crowders Mountain State Park, the other peak being The Pinnacle. The park is located in the western Piedmont of North Carolina between the cities of Kings Mountain and Gastonia or about 25 miles west of Charlotte. Matthias and Jasmine enjoy going on hikes here. Be sure to bring a snack for when you get to the top!

If amusement parks and roller coasters are your thing (unlike Matthias), Carowinds is the place for you!
