Me and Breyer's story doesn't begin with a grand gesture or a perfect moment - it begins quietly, in the middle school hallways, where we first met without ever knowing how important we would become to one another. We were young, just learning who we were, but even then there was something familiar and easy about being around each other. Our friendship truly began to flourish in high school, where we found ourselves sitting across from one another at the lunch table day after day. Those moments were simple - shared laughs, and conversations that made the school day feel so much better. Without realizing it, we were building a foundation rooted in friendship, comfort, and genuine care. Life, as it often does, took us in different directions. We went our separate ways for a while, growing individually and learning lessons we didn't yet understand the purpose of. Somewhere along the way, we found ourselves reconnecting and trying to turn that friendship into something more. At the time, it didn't work out - and looking back now, we're grateful it didn't. We both needed time to grow, mature, and become the people we were meant to be for each other. Two years after that last attempt, something simple changed everything. I added Breyer back on Snapchat. He added me back. There was no big plan or expectation - just a message, a reconnection, and a feeling that something was different this time. And it was. From that moment on, we've been stuck by one another ever since. What started as a friendship all those years ago had quietly transformed into a love built on patience, timing, and understanding.
