The ride from the airport to the historic center is about 20 minutes. You can set up a ride through your hotel or request an Uber. It usually costs around 20,000 pesos, or about five US dollars.

From our experience, Uber was the easiest and most convenient option. You can request yellow taxis or regular rides through the app without worrying about negotiating prices or carrying cash. Rides are very affordable and felt safe throughout our stay. We’re also sharing the contact of a trusted driver who works with our wedding planner — he’s reliable and familiar with the area.
