We met at Stampede on a random Monday night. Matthew was making me laugh with cheesy pick up lines the whole night. A few months passed and we ran into each other again and exchanged numbers and became fast friends. We texted and played iMessage games daily. He became the person I would call after a stressful day or when I needed to vent. Soon we were hanging out almost everyday. He woke up at the crack of dawn with me the morning of my Step-brothers funeral to talk to me on the phone while I got ready. After that we were inseparable. After almost a year of being friends Matt told me he had feelings for me and that he wanted to be more. We went on a date and at that moment I knew that I didn’t want to be with anyone else.
