FAQs

Question

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

We are very excited to celebrate with all of you and wish we could accommodate everyone, but unfortunately, due to limited capacity, we are not able to offer many plus ones. If you have a plus one, either their name or 'Guest' will be listed on the RSVP. If no one else is listed, there is only one RSVP for you. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids allowed at the wedding?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception are adults only.

Question

What does 'black-tie optional' actually mean?

Answer

It means you’ve got options — fabulous ones! If you’ve ever wanted an excuse to break out a tux or that dramatic floor-length gown, this is absolutely your moment. Don’t hold back on the glam! That said, a sharp dark suit and tie or an elevated floor-length dress also fit right in. Basically, dress like you’re going somewhere amazing — because you are!

Question

So...how formal are we talking?

Answer

Think “movie premiere” energy, not “work holiday party.” Tuxedos, velvet jackets, sleek suits, flowing gowns, fancy jumpsuits — all fair game. If it makes you want to twirl, sparkle, or say “wow” in the mirror, it’s perfect. We want this to be the perfect excuse to get all-dolled-up! Think “James Bond at a tropical resort” or “Red carpet, but make it coastal.” A tux with a pop of personality, a gown that catches the light, a jumpsuit that turns heads — that’s the energy.

Question

Do I have to wear black?

Answer

Absolutely not! “Black tie” hints at formality, it doesn’t mean a sea of black outfits. The wedding is at the beach, not on it, so go all-in on vibrant hues, tropical prints, jewel tones, or metallic moments. Think sunset palette, ocean blues, lush greens, golden glow — anything that feels alive and celebratory. It might be January, but we’re chasing sunshine vibes, not winter ones.

Question

What about shoes?

Answer

You’ll be making a stylish entrance across a wooden bridge and a patch of grass for the ceremony, so think fashion meets function. Block heels, wedges, or dressy flats are ideal — elegant and easy to navigate in. If your heart’s set on stilettos (we get it), grab a pair of heel caps to keep them from sinking into the grass — they’re discreet, practical, and totally chic. Once the party moves inside, feel free to swap into your sky-high favorites and hit the dance floor.
