The very first time we saw each other we knew this meeting was different than the rest. We found that there was something very special about each other and held strong to that till the time was right. In 1996, Tammy walked into the restaurant that Matt was managing at the time, and was thrown back by the radiant smile that lit up his face. It was like he saw an angel walk through the door. Matt was so stunned by Tammy’s Beauty that he was literally at a loss for words. Later that year, Matthew was asked to accompany Tammy to her senior prom. From there a strong, never ending friendship was born. The couple kept in contact and remained best friends. They encouraged each other’s growth and gave each other relational advice throughout the years. Matthew excitingly asked Tammy, for her hand in marriage during an intimate surprise engagement ceremony. Tammy happily accepted. The couples dream is to marry their best friend. This dream will surely manifest as the two will become one on April 4, 2024. Many people ask, what took you two so long to make this official? Well, we waited for the right time. We waited for God to bring us together. We waited for our own personal and spiritual growth and maturity. The result is we now appreciate and love each other more than ever before. Life without each other is no longer possible. Now, is the right time and it was worth the wait. We would Love to see our close family and friends there to witness our union.
