Question

Where is the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Empire Mine State Historic Park. It's an outdoor venue with lots of trees. The paths are fairly smooth and partially paved, though some sections are gravel.

Question

Where should we park for the ceremony?

Answer

Park at the visitor's center parking lot. Copy and paste the following line into Google Maps for directions (or search for 'Empire Mine visitors center'): 6X43+WQH Grass Valley, California

Question

Where is the reception?

Answer

The Stone House 107 Sacramento St, Nevada City, CA 95959

Question

Where should we park for the reception?

Answer

There is limited parking at the restaurant, but there is another parking lot across the new bridge at the bottom of Nevada Street (across from the restaurant). There can be some on-street parking up the hill along Sacramento Street as well.

Question

Where is the reception? Part 2.

Answer

The reception will be indoors, at the upstairs restaurant (enter at the ground floor doors). The restaurant will be operating as usual apart from the wedding reception.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Dressy casual is where it's at. (Google it for examples--we know it sounds contradictory!)

Question

What will we be eating?

Answer

We are going to have a family style meal prepared by the Stone House. The dishes will include chicken, a vegan gnocchi, a seasonal salad, roasted potatoes and veggies, and dessert. All options are gluten free and most (maybe all--checking on that!) are dairy free. There will be pizza for the little ones who might not want the other dishes. (The pizza is not gluten or dairy free.) Cocktail hour will have two appetizers, which are not gluten or dairy free.
