We are asking for RSVP's by May 1, 2019.
Guest should arrive no sooner then 5:30pm,
There is no real dress code. If you can wear your "best" of whatever you feel most comfortable in. Nice sundress and sandals, golf shorts and a golf shirt, nice jeans and a nice shirt. We want our guest to feel welcome and comfortable.
Our ceremony is very important to us. While we do not mind photos and snap chats being taken during our special day we politely ask that you refrain from having your cameras out during our ceremony. We want everyone to be present and in the moment while we officially become husband and wife. Thank you.
Parking will be marked lining the driveway. Please do not park in the hay field.
Wedding goes on "rain or shine". If it is raining we will move the ceremony and cocktail hour to inside the barn. Bathrooms are not in the barn. So guest will have to walk to the restrooms so please take that into consideration if it is raining that day. But we know that June 1, 2019 is a beautiful sunny day.
If you would like to bring a date and we did not address the envelope to include a guest then please call Matthew or Scarlett.
We have taken into consideration those couples that we know have younger children and they will be listed on the invitation. Kids are welcome. We kindly ask that parents be prepared to keep their children close to them. We want everyone to enjoy celebrating this very special day with us.
We will have a cocktail hour right after the ceremony. While the exact menu has not been chosen, we will have a selection of barbecue and sides for dinner. For dessert we will have a selection of custom made cupcakes.
Matthew and I have been talking about having an amazing honeymoon since starting to plan this wedding. We actually considered skipping the wedding and just taking the money to go on a fabulous vacation. The we realized that we wanted our family and our closest friends to be there to celebrate the start of our marriage. So the gift we want the most is the ability to be able to go on that amazing honeymoon. Contributions to our honeymoon can be made through the registry or a monetary contribution can be given at the wedding in our card box. With that said, I have always wanted great cast iron cookware and a Dutch oven because I love cooking.
