Discovered in the time of Tiberius, the place was initially thought to be haunted by evil spirits and so was avoided; it was rediscovered in the 19th century and since then has become one of Capri’s most popular attractions. When the weather is fine a small rowing boat will take you into the grotto (you’ll need to lie down in the boat as the opening is very narrow) and, thanks to reflecting sunlight, the water appears to take on the colour of sky.
Capri is a walker’s paradise, filled with incredible views. Stairs and walkways, mostly signposted, crisscross the island. Favourite routes include Arco Naturale to the Belvedere di Tragara, and from Anacapri to Monte Solaro (2km – around 2 hours).
Relaxing at a beach club is one of the best way to enjoy Capri's shores. Even if your hotel will come with a beach club, you might want to try something different such as La Fontelina Beach Club, a very cool place with views over the Faraglioni, or Lido Del Faro Beach Club, where sunset is just breathtaking. It is necessary to book in advance. To have more information please get in touch with our team Email: SarahandMatt@sposiamovi.it Phone: +39 338 6358679
