BUT NOT IN MATT'S NORMAL FASHION!! For those of you who don't know, Matt's favorite 1st date spot was Wings Over Washington, however, this was not Sarah & Matt's first date.. and to this day Sarah has refused to go... but let's back up On October 10th 2018, Matt was part of the Boys & Girls Club Kid's Auction & Sarah was there with a group of his friends. Two weeks later, Sarah was invited to a party at Matt's condo and spilled not one, but two glasses of red wine on Matt's beautifully manicured white carpet. Instead of freaking out, Matt took his shoes off and got down on his hands and knees pouring white wine on the carpet with Sarah to try and get the stain out. Sarah brought by an "apology bag" the next day with cleaning supplies and a note that won over Matt's heart. He tried for weeks to get Sarah to go out on a date with him, and she was finally able to grab pizza at Little Lago and go to a Husky basketball game before catching a red eye to NY. A few weeks later a bet was made - if the Huskies won the Apple Cup game, then Matt would make dinner for Sarah, and if WSU won, Sarah would take Matt on the "Classic Matt Olson Wings over Washington Date". Huskies obviously won, so Sarah has still never gone on Wings over Washington, but instead, the two of them flew over Washington on their way to Maui and the rest was history! We've made such amazing memories over the last three years, and we cannot wait to celebrate and keep writing our story with you all May 21st, 2022! Love, Matt & Sarah
