Sam and Matt met in October 2023 after matching on Bumble, and their first date was as classic as it gets—watching a Patriots game together. From the very beginning, they both knew something felt different. What started as an easy connection quickly became something much more meaningful. In January, Matt was introduced to the other great love of Sam’s life, Ollie, and the three have been a happy little unit ever since. Whether they’re heading out on an adventure—hiking, traveling, or trying a new restaurant—or simply enjoying time together, Sam and Matt love making memories wherever they go. They said “I love you” in March 2024, and just over a year later, Matt proposed in Sam’s favorite place: Shapleigh, Maine. Exactly two years and one day after they first met, on October 23, Matt asked—and for Sam, it was the easiest yes.
