Reina & Matt met the summer of 2007 while visiting her grandmother in Alabama. After playing a game of cat and mouse Reina and Matt made it official July 19, 2008. Although Reina lived in Houston and Matt in Alabama, while in high school, nothing could keep them apart. In hopes of fulfilling her life-long dream, Reina attended Howard University in Washington, DC while Matt worked from Alabama. After college Reina moved to Baltimore to start her career in Social Work. In 2017, Matt moved to Baltimore in hopes of their " Always and Forever." Matt was determined to make a better life for him and Reina. In doing so he attend school and attained his Commercial Drivers License. They now own a beautiful home together in Baltimore, and cannot wait to tie the knot.

Matt called Reina's Maid of Honor Shakaria on Friday, March 15,2019 stating "Its Time." Shakaria stated " Time as in proposal?" Matt said "Yes, I want it to be this weekend!" He now owes Shakaria for life! Shakaria immediately began to plan and called Reina's mother to ensure she could be here on Sunday, March 17, 2019, for the proposal. Reina's bridesmaids planned a wonderful proposal filled with love and joy. Here is a video of the proposal.
