The grooms have elected to keep this an adults only affair. While some exceptions have been made for children that the grooms have a direct personal relationship with, we hope you can make arrangements for an adults night out.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. If you have a new squeeze and you want to bring them, feel free to ask one of the grooms closer to the wedding date (but before May 1st). We'd love to accommodate everyone, but we have to know what our numbers look like before we can open up seats for guests.
Summer Casual Cocktail is our best guess on how to explain it. We want folks to look nice, yet comfortable. There's no point wearing a great suit, if you're going to be drenched in sweat just from walking across the parking lot. We're getting married in the middle of the Summer, so feel free to dress comfortably. Short sleeves are fine. Men can wear or skip jackets. No shorts please. No men's sandals please. Fake moustaches and cheap wigs strongly encouraged.
Yes. The reception will be open bar. If you want to safely pregame there are a few bars conveniently located close to the wedding reception. Please plan transportation accordingly. The wedding ceremony is on a college campus, and there is most likely no alcohol consumption allowed on their grounds.
Probably not. We do not have a definitive on what is and is not allowed at this point. If permitted, we may have a cooler full of non-alcoholic beverages for folks to enjoy before the ceremony. We have not gotten word back yet on what UNCG's policy is.
To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women!
