What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. Think dress shirt and tie, nice slacks with optional jacket, midi dresses, jumpsuits and stylish separates. Wear what makes you comfortable :)

What is the easiest way to get to and from the venues?

Answer

There are several travel options to and from the venues. The ceremony is at Gateshead Civic Centre (NE8). The reception is at our house (21 Orange Grove, NE16 4TA). DRIVE/TAXI -To/From Ceremony: You can drive or be dropped off at the Gateshead Civic Centre. You'll need a parking ticket for the Civic Centre parking lot or can try to find free parking nearby. -To/From Reception: The best place to park is along Orchard Road and then it's just a short walk to ours. PUBLIC TRANSPORT -To/From Ceremony: Catch a bus or metro to Gateshead Interchange and you can walk to the civic centre in 10 minutes. -To/From Reception: Catch a bus (X30, X31, X71) from Haymarket to School Lane, Whickham just outside the Bay Horse pub (20 minutes). From there, it's a 5 minute walk to the house.

Are Children Welcome?

Yes, children are welcome to attend both the ceremony and reception.

Are we accepting gifts?

Answer

Kind of! Your presence alone is more than enough, but if you're feeling generous, we are accepting donations to go towards our honeymoon trip to Japan. You can either donate online using the link on the "Registry" page of the website, or we'll happily accept card and cash in hand on the day :)
