Alli and Patrice met freshman year in Alpha Chi Omega. As sorority twins, they quickly realized their shared passion for musicals and have been sharing life with one another ever since. Alli has been by Patrice's side through think and thin and everyday life - from helping Patrice pick out produce in the grocery store to making her funny face pancakes to cheer her up. As soon as their busy schedules allow, Alli and Patrice plan on taking their dream trip to Austria to do the Sound of Music Tour.

Best Man
Matt and Joe first met as kids at the boys and girls club in their hometown. They reconnected in High School and became lifelong friends. Between playing random sports, video games, and the few times Matt had to save Joe when his car broke down at his job in Anderson at the Casino, there has not been a time when one or the other has come home and haven't seen each other. Joe Gibbs quote, "You all are the brothers I never had. Can't wait to watch your handsome ass jump head first into the next chapter of your life."

Alex and Patrice both joined Alpha Chi Omega their freshman year of college. While at UNCW they spent countless Friday mornings eating bagels together in Patrice's bed that Alex would deliver after her early morning classes. Alex was sure Matt was Patrice's perfect match the very first time she met him at Beerfest in Wilmington, just three months into their relationship. She was so sure she called to ask if he had proposed that same weekend, knowing they took a walk by themselves along the Cape Fear River.
JT Bell
Groomsman
Matt and JT met each other in kindergarten. If you ask JT, they were cubbie buddies. The alphabet says otherwise but to digress. They have known each other most of their lives and reconnected in high school. Along with Joe and Chad and the shenanigans that come along at those ages, many weekends were spent pulling a double feature at the local movie theater on a Friday night, reversing through the taco bell drive through so people could order on the bumper of the car, and many nights just all of us playing video games in the same house.

Patrice held Gracie the day she was released from the NICU and their journey as best of cousin buddies began. They share a passion for dance and being little drama queens. Gracie went to all of Patrice's dance recitals growing up and was inspired to have her own incredible dance career. As the youngest girl Alford cousin, Gracie watched enviously as her older cousins served as bridesmaids in each others weddings and she has waited for this day to take the aisle and be by the bride in a family wedding.

Unlike Joe and JT, Matt and Chad met in High School and everyone became part of the group that hung out almost every day. The main gathering place was Chad's home in the basement - the Fortress of Game-itude. Matt's car was known to carry a TV in it because you never knew when a game would happen and an extra TV was needed. After high school, Matt and Chad stayed connected because of online video games. When Matt moved to Charleston for work, he convinced Chad to move down and live with him. Matt has been in Charleston for 8 years and Chad now for 6. Matt was also a co-best man in Chad's wedding in February of this year.

The first of the Alford cousin children, Haley quickly stole Patrice's heart. She is maturing into such a responsible young lady who loves to share new animal facts or stump Patrice with a marine life question.

The eldest male Alford cousin child, Jackson is as sweet as they come. He and Matthew quickly bonded over their love of LEGOs and Jackson will FaceTime Patrice just to see Matt and show off his latest LEGO creation. (Matt also makes Patrice FaceTime Jackson to show off his new builds.)

Kennedy is the little princess in Patrice's heart. She loves wearing pretty dresses and is very excited about a new festive dress for the event of the year.

Ring Bearer
Leo is ready for his ring bearer responsibilities after one practice round in Germany. Even though he did say "no" when Matthew and Patrice first asked him, he has changed his mind and will be ready to put on a show.

As the littlest girl in the next generation, Anina was a shoe-in for a flower girl position. Her shy smile will radiate down the aisle and quickly draw you in!

Camden, 4, is fearless and fun. He is beginning to join in on the LEGO madness, with a knack for organizing the pieces. He is excited to make his family wedding debut with the other big kids.
