Natalie began her exploration of dating apps and her first match brought her Matt. They met up for their first date and felt the spark, having a hint it was meant to be after walking into Powell's and bee-lining it to the comic book section together without saying a word. Matt loved Natalie's recommendations of books and knew he found a winner (and future dog step-mom for Goose). Just before the pandemic hit, they moved in together.
