With the help of some of Mylei's co-workers; Matthew and Mylei had their first conversation onboard the USS Decatur. Matthew later found and added her on Facebook to talk about when she could work on his dirt bikes....A few days later he asked her to go shopping with him to help find something for his sister's 16th birthday. After shopping he kidnapped her and she met the family! Happy 16th Birthday Mariah!! After the birthday party, Mylei found out she was going to Maine for a few months on a work project, they went to Red Robin (YUMMM) on 11/30/2014 and he asked her to be his girlfriend.

Buttercup Sand Dunes - first time Mylei drove "Outlaw" Matthew and Mylei were sitting in the car after the clutch went out before the last ride of the weekend; Matthew was telling Mylei that she was doing great driving, kicking ass actually. Mylei simply responded...."well of course! I'm kicking ass and takin names!" Matthew laughed and said the only name your taking is mine....and that's it! That's how he asked the big question...
