Cinnamon's Restaurant Kailua

Cinnamon's Restaurant Kailua

For those thinking of laying on the beautiful beach of Lanikai, stop by this local Hawaiian breakfast joint in Kailua. We highly recommend the guava chiffon pancakes and any of their loco moco's (we liked the sisig [crispy pork belly]) with a side of brown gravy. Try to get there early and expect a wait.

Liliha Drive Inn

Liliha Drive Inn

1408 Liliha Street, Honolulu, HI 96817

We like this place much better than the tourist-y Rainbow Drive Inn. Must tries are their garlic shrimps, oxtail soup, and the mochiko chicken (get the mini size, it's big Hawaiian portions). Plenty of parking in the back.

Rainbow Drive-In

Rainbow Drive-In

3308 Kanaina Avenue, Honolulu, HI 96815
, (808) 737-0177

Very budget friendly Hawaiian food like loco moco, BBQ mixed plates, and breakfast sandwiches and meals. There are a few locations all around Waikiki. Best eaten before going to the beach because you will be knocked out!

Giovanni’s

The original food truck is located in North Shore but expect a LONGGG wait (1-2 hours) and also expect to wait a bit to find parking. Or you can go to the location in the H-Mart in Waikiki with 0 wait time and plenty of free parking. No frill food stop - it's garlic shrimp, mac salad and heaps of rice.
