The RSVP deadline is 03/20/2023. How do I RSVP?

Answer

The preferred method is to RSVP online on the wedding website that was included in the Save the Date and Invitation, however, we understand some people may not have computer access. Please call or text the Bride to confirm or decline your RSVP at 651-470-6438

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your RSVP and if your invitation is printed with "Guest" you may enter their name when you RSVP so they can be included in all the Wedding Weekend Events.

Do you have a hotel block of rooms at the Deadwood Mountain Grand for guests?

Answer

Yes, Deadwood Mountain Grand is holding a block of rooms until 04/20/2023 Please call them at (605) 559-0386 and tell them that you are attending the Neff-Miller wedding to receive the special rate. Room Information & Rates: The resort has both King and Double Queen rooms in the room block. There is a $9.95 nightly resort fee, $5.00 nightly occupancy tax, and 9% tax. If you need dates outside of the below please call the DMG directly and ask for the pricing. Does the Deadwood Mountain Grand allow pets?

Answer

Yes, Deadwood Mountain Grand welcomes two dogs of any size for an additional fee of $25 per night. Rooms on the ground floor are pet-friendly. In addition, they're welcome on the casino floor to bring you luck while gambling.

If I decide to seek other accommodations is there parking?

Answer

Deadwood is steep and in a valley, there is limited parking so if you chose not to stay at the Deadwood Mountain Grand there will be limited parking if you are not a resident with a permit. You may have to park on the outskirts of town and be bused in to the town. The DMG resort has a covered parking garage that connects to the hotel and event center and there is no daily parking fee for guests staying at the resort.

When will the Bride & Groom be arriving and departing?

The Bride & Groom will be arriving on Wednesday, May 17th and departing DMG resort on Monday, May 22nd.

Will there be any other events to attend during the wedding weekend?

Answer

Yes, please continue to check this site under the "Wedding Weekend Event Schedule" tab and look for emails and texts regarding special events. There will also be a full schedule in your Welcome Bag. You must RSVP online to the events that you will be attending during the wedding weekend to allow for accurate planning.

Will there be a Welcome Reception?

Answer

Yes, the Bride and Groom will be hosting a Welcome Reception for all of their guests on Thursday, May 18th beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Mountain Harmony Suite 400. They will be providing light snacks and cocktails. The attendees will be utilizing their creative side and creating a canvas for the Bride and Groom to hang in their home. You will also want to stop by and collect your Welcome Gift Bag filled with a variety of items you will need for the weekend and most importantly the Wedding Weekend Schedule if you are not staying at the resort.

Is there a Wedding Weekend Schedule/Welcome Gift Bag?

Yes, we have created a schedule for you. Not only is it visible on our wedding site, but you will also find it in your Welcome Gift Bag. You will receive your gift bag when checking into the Deadwood Mountain Grand. If you're not staying at the DMG or able to attend the Welcome Reception please call Kayla at 320-583-7779 to pick up your bag.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors at Spearfish Falls in picturesque Spearfish Canyon. Please be sure that you bring footwear that is acceptable for walking through the woods on a dirt path and on uneven ground and in the event of rain please be sure to pack an umbrella. The reception will be indoors at the Event Center located in the Deadwood Mountain Grand. The space has a large outdoor patio that overlooks historic Deadwood that we will be utilizing for pictures with our guests.

Answer

The ceremony will be taking place outdoor at Spearfish Falls located in picturesque Spearfish Canyon. The reception will be taking place at the Deadwood Mountain Grand located at 1906 Deadwood Mountain Drive, Deadwood, SD 57732 in the Event Center.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code? What shoes should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire with your own personal "flare" of historic Old West. Since we will be outside for the ceremony we highly advise that you disregard fashion and wear shoes suitable to walk through the woods and on uneven ground. In the event of rain please be sure to pack an umbrella.

Answer

The weather can be unpredictable so please watch the weather forecast and pack accordingly. It is highly advised to error on the side of caution and bring UMBRELLAS and JACKETS.

Answer

In the event of rain, we will active the rain plan and the ceremony will be moved to the below address: Saloon No. 10 657 Main Street Deadwood, SD 57732 We will be gathering in front of the fireplace. It will be first come first serve with the ceremony beginning at 4:00 p.m. sharp!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, there will be a Social Hour starting at 5:00 p.m. at the Deadwood Mountain Grand Event Center.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

There will be a social hour with complimentary beer, wine, and a signature cocktail prior to the reception. The buffet dinner will follow the social hour. If you have any menu restrictions please notify us when you RSVP to the 'Reception & Live Music" online event and provide details around your dietary restrictions so that Chef can create a plated meal especially for you to enjoy.

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

Yes, we highly encourage that you take home a centerpiece and commemorative poker chip. And all cards at the table will make a full deck so you can take them on your next trip! We do kindly ask that you do not take any of the items from the head table, centerpiece mirror stands, banners, stand-ups, or any other signage since most of it is rented for the occasion. Remember that we are traveling just like you, so space is limited. If you have any questions on what can be taken please ask Paulette, the Mother of the Bride.

When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?

Answer

The reception will end between 10:30 - 11:30 p.m. At which time the Bride and Groom plan to hit downtown Deadwood. We invite everyone to enjoy the after-party with us!
