Question

Are there any other events around the wedding?

Answer

Please indicate on your RSVP whether you would like to attend the live music of HooDoo Soul Band at Rumba Cafe on Sunday, April 27th, 2025, at 9 pm, and we will reserve your ticket.

Question

Is the wedding adults only?

Answer

We are kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only event. However, if it's absolutely necessary to bring your little ones, we ask that you enjoy the ceremony and cocktail hour with us, and then make arrangements for them afterward so the rest of the evening (dinner, reception, etc) can be focused on our adult guests.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you did not have a named plus-one on your invitation, please RSVP for your guest on the RSVP tab of this website, so we can be sure to have a final headcount and meal choice!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Parking at the venue is available starting at 3:45 pm, and seating for the ceremony is available at 4:00 pm. The ceremony will begin at 4:30 pm.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there are 125 complimentary parking spaces, including handicapped accessible parking. You will be directed to park by parking attendants. You can also be dropped off at this address by a rideshare (Uber/Lyft). Whether your drive your own vehicle or use a rideshare, please be sure to enter the address for The Gardens at Jorgensen Farms (5851 E. Walnut Street, Westerville, OH 43081), so you do not accidentally arrive at the separate entrance for the other event space in this venue (Oak Grove). If you plan to consume alcohol, please have a designated driver or use Uber/Lyft to leave the venue. Guests may leave vehicles parked at the venue overnight, but must pick them up between 8 am - 10 am the next day (Sunday, April 27, 2025).

Question

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

We do not have designated transportation from any specific hotel, but Uber/Lyft are abundant in the Columbus area. There is also parking available at the venue if you have your own vehicle.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We do not have a designated hotel block, but there are many hotels available in Columbus near the venue, especially in Westerville, New Albany, and Polaris Mall. There are many food and shopping options at Polaris Mall as well. The Travel tab on this website suggests several hotels in these locations recommended by our venue.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire or whatever you want! We want our guests to be comfortable and have a fun, memorable time.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please indicate your dietary needs (e.g. vegan, gluten free, allergy) on the RSVP tab of this website when selecting your meal choice, so we can pass this information along to our caterers.

Question

What's the bar situation?

Answer

We will have a full, open bar during cocktail hour through dancing. Non-alcoholic hot and cold beverages will also be available. Caveat: The venue has a “no shots” policy to encourage responsible drinking. You can order whiskey neat, as long as you don’t drink it as a shot.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Our registry is a cash fund for our honeymoon, available on this website under the "Registry" tab. A card box will also be available at the venue if you'd like to bring a physical card!

Question

What is the venue’s policy on THC containing products?

Answer

Jorgensen now allows the use of THC-containing products in accordance with Ohio law. They ask that it be restricted to edible products or, if vaping, that it be done outdoors only out of consideration for other guests.

Question

Should we tip the bartenders?

Answer

Yes, please! The venue purposefully does not place tip jars on the bars in order to maintain the aesthetic for pictures and videos. Although there is an included gratuity for the culinary staff, we ask that you still tip your bartender as a thank you for doing a great job!

Question

What about…

Answer

If you have a question, please reach out, and we will publish it here if it would be useful for others to know!
