Are children allowed?

Answer

As much as we love children, we decided no children will be invited to the ceremony or reception. We hope you understand and take this time to enjoy the weekend.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE ON THE BEACH?

Answer

Guests should arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony start time.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

No, unless your invite states otherwise.

Will there be transportation provided to ceremony and venue?

Answer

No, we will not be providing transportation, but we highly suggest using other forms of transportation. There are buses running every 30 minutes. Please use the OC Beach Bus app for details. You may purchase a bus ticket for $3-$6 per person and it will be good until 6 am the following day, or you may find another form of transportation.

How do I rsvp?

You may use the website via detail card or the RSVP tab. www.zola.com/wedding/matthewandmaelynn RSVP No later than March 27th!

Do you have recommendation on hotel or Airbnb?

Answer

There will be a limited number of rooms blocked at Holiday Inn Ocean City on 66th street (see travel section). Once they are gone, they cannot guarantee rooms will be available. If you choose, you may find other hotels throughout ocean city. Airbnb will not be blocked, please utilize the internet to find best rates.

When can i check into my hotel?

Check in is usually at 4pm. Please note: Ceremony will begin at 5pm on Friday, May 16th. You may arrive when it’s best for you, but please note these times and plan accordingly.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Park at Barefoot Bride/Coastal 59 Venue parking lot located on the bayside of Coastal Highway between 59th and 60th Street. The address is 5909 Coastal Hwy, Ocean City, MD 21842. See parking tab for picture.

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction, what will be the menu be?

Answer

There will be two entree choices, and the food will be served buffet style. We will try our best to accommodate you. Please note if there are any food allergies or dietary restrictions so we can notify the caterer. You will note this on your rsvp.

Will there be an after party?

Answer

Please join us after our reception at Fager's Island, located directly behind the Coastal 59 venue. There may be golf cart transportation from the venue to Fager's Island for those who require assistance. This is a short walking distance from the venue as well.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held on the beach and the reception will be indoors. For inclement weather, the wedding ceremony will be held indoors.

Will I need to provide ID for alcoholic drinks?

Answer

Yes, please bring your valid ID, as you may be carded by the bartender.
