The first (of many... so many...) murder mystery parties for Matt's bday Oct 2021. We played love interests, though we're not sure if it was written that way, or was the actors' interpretation

Us on the day of our first white coat ceremony. It was this day that Matt taught Maddy what "total smoke show" meant.

Matt asked Maddy to med school prom (aka WWAMI ball) Autumn 2021. We went as friends, but left thinking just friends might not be enough...

We were inseparable after WWAMI ball, little did we know we were FALLing in love.

Matt would frequently serenade Maddy in his basement bedroom mostly to make her forget about the palm sized spiders roaming around, the wooing was a side benefit.

Early on Matt invited Maddy to a viewing party for one of his favorite short films. I later found out this was a test, thank goodness I passed.

Pen pen, Maddy's 19 year old family dog, passed shortly after meeting Matt for the first time. She knew her work was done and that I had found the one even before Maddy did.

Despite Matt's unwavering honesty, he is suspiciously good at throwing birthday surprises. He proved this by throwing this elaborate surprise party for Maddy's bday the first year we were together.

Since Maddy can't keep a secret to save her life, instead of birthday surprises, Maddy goes all in on Matt's costume ideas whether it be Santa and his buddy...

...or Bob and his easel.

Now, most days consist of us cooking-- trying to keep each other alive as we finish med school.

Recently, we decided that we had too much leisure time and were ready to add a fur baby to our life, and Millie found her way to our family.

She is a hilarious blurr of fur, and we cannot recall life ever without her. We simply adore her, and she truly solidifies us as a family unit.
