We're Getting married!

We went to the same high school but somehow never really crossed paths. We shared some of the same friends but weren’t friends ourselves. That all changed during a high school choir and band trip. While visiting Disney's Epcot theme park, we got separated from our friends and ended up exploring the park together. What started as a chance encounter turned into hours of conversation and laughter. By the end of the trip, we realized how much we enjoyed each other’s company, and shortly after, we started dating. That unexpected day brought us together, and we’ve been together ever since!

Matthew popped the question during a trip to New York with some of our friends. On the day of the proposal, we took a ferry ride from Lower Manhattan to Brooklyn to catch the Brooklyn Bridge at sunset. After stepping off the ferry, we walked over to the bridge to take in the stunning view and snap some photos. While I was busy recording a video of the bridge, Matthew got down on one knee! I was in shock and almost forgot to say "yes"! It was the most unforgettable moment, surrounded by the beauty of the city and the bridge at sunset!
