Happily Ever After Party

In April 2026, we will be traveling to Nepal for a simple, intimate destination wedding. We’ll spend about ten days hiking through the Himalayan mountains to Mt. Everest Base Camp. Somewhere along the way, we’ll exchange our vows. Nothing big or fancy, just the two of us and the mountains. We’re really looking forward to the trip, the views, and the chance to just be together and start our marriage in a way that feels right for us. Then in June 2026, we hope you’ll join us to celebrate back home at our "happily ever after party". We’ll share photos, tell the stories from the trip, and spend time celebrating with the people we love most.

Our story started back in high school. Liz was a senior at Waverly High School, and Matt was a junior at Pius X High School in Lincoln. Our paths might never have crossed if not for our best friends. Matt’s best friend was dating Liz’s best friend, Mackenzie, who quickly decided Liz and Matt would be a great match. Our first date was a blind double date with friends and from that night on, we were inseparable. Since then, we have grown up together. We've celebrated high school and college graduations, Matt supported Liz through grad school, and we've stood by eachother as we both started our careers. In October of 2024, after six years of dating, Matt proposed, marking the start of our next chapter together.
