We went here on our first date (after a few "you two should really meet" suggestions by mutual friends). Needless to say, we had a blast!

Gruene Hall
Gruene Hall was where we attended our first live music concert together to see Bob Schneider. It was a great evening after a day filled of Matthew meeting some of Leslie's closest family friends. If you plan to attend Friday's ceremony and spend the weekend in town, definitely take a peek at who might be playing Saturday at "The Hall"!
Sidecar
A fun spot that we have frequented with local friends! Sidecar is a vintage speakeasy inside the Prince Solms Inn. The speakeasy downstairs (Sidecar) and the bar inside of Prince Solms are beautiful!
Gruene Grove
All tuckered out from too much shopping downtown Gruene? The Gruene Grove is the ideal place to recharge. Upstairs on the patio is a full bar complete with beer on tap, great wine selection, signature drinks, and margaritas. For those who are real classy, there is a downstairs speakeasy with top shelf offerings.
Texas Tubes
One of Leslie's favorite things to do in New Braunfels is floating the river! Both of us attended Texas State University and "river life" was a staple. One of our early dates was a river float and we would encourage any out of town visitors that are making a weekend trip to consider this activity!
