Jaw-dropping red rocks, easy walking trails, and unreal photo ops. Sunrise or sunset is pure magic.
Drive, hike, bike, or take the cog railway to the summit for sweeping views that make you feel on top of the world. Bonus points if you grab a donut at the top (yes, it’s a thing).
For the bold, the brave, and the “let’s do something a little unhinged” person. The Incline is a straight-up climb of nearly 3,000 steps with rewarding views at the top. Not for the faint of heart, but if you’re into epic hikes, serious sweat, and bragging rights, this one’s for you. Pro tip: bring water, take breaks, and plan a celebratory coffee afterward. Lauren and her sister, Madalyn, do this climb every time Madalyn comes to visit! Give it a try!
There are plenty of great lattes here in the Springs, but a few of our favorites are Switchback Coffee Roasters (Shooks run location), Frankly coffee (Lauren`s favorite), and Building Three coffee ( Matthew`s favorite).
Our favorite hike to recommend. Peaceful, shaded, and dotted with seven charming little bridges. It’s scenic without being intimidating and feels like a true Colorado experience 🥾🌲
This is one of our favorites and the city’s most charming restaurant that serves elevated comfort food and creative cocktails in a charming, eclectic space. Perfect for brunch, lunch, or dinner! Matthew and I have made a habit of stopping by here after dinner for a cup of decaf coffee. There’s nothin’ sweeter!
The name explains itself! The caffeinated cow has great coffee and delicious ice cream, making it the perfect stop after dinner or a hike. Matthew has befriended the owners after living across the street for the past 4 years. If you order what “Matthew the HVAC guy” gets, they’ll serve you the best coffee you’ve ever had. Don’t take our word for it, try it for yourselves!
