Matt and Lauren actually met on the popular dating app, Hinge! After a few days of online messaging, Matt came home from college to bring Lauren on their first date January 7th 2023. Matt planned the date and they went golfing at Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club in Haines City, Florida. Matt says it was love at first sight… Lauren was a little more reserved on that feeling at first. 😉 Two holes into the golf date, Matt asked Lauren on a second date… dinner after golf! Lauren eventually agreed since she was intrigued by Matt and was having so much fun!! The dinner date at Boathouse in Disney Springs ended up going so well that Matt invited Lauren to meet his family the next day before he went back to school. Lauren wasn’t sure what to think other than… his “smooth talk” must be real if he wants me to meet his family right?! Meeting Mark, Ellen, Emily and Ryan went fantastic!! 😊 Matt and Lauren kept seeing each other and made the relationship official February 3, 2023. Since then, they have grown and made so many great memories together!!! 💕 On March 1, 2024 there was a trip planned to Tampa with their friends Taylor and Ben. Lauren’s parents Maria and Glenn were also going to be in Tampa for a work conference. To Lauren’s surprise, Matt planned the sweetest proposal with Maria and Taylor’s help! There were so many smiles and happy tears that afternoon!!! 💍 Lauren and Matt are so excited to start life together as a married couple and can’t wait for their story to keep unfolding. ✨
