First and foremost, we give thanks to our Heavenly Father and the Lord Jesus Christ for bringing us together. It is by His grace and power that our paths crossed, and we were brought together in a love only He could orchestrate. We prayed for our life partner, trusting God’s timing and plan, and He answered in the most beautiful way. From the moment we met, it was clear that this relationship was a gift from Him, continuously reaffirming the certainty of our relationship with signs and blessings. Our journey has been full of faith, laughter, and love, and we are so grateful to celebrate the beginning of our forever surrounded by family and friends. One of the most memorable moments of our story happened on our very first date. We went to the movie theaters, and before meeting, Laila prayed to God for a sign that if I was the man she was meant to be with, I would bring her a sweatshirt. What she didn’t know was that before I left to pick her up, I felt it in my heart to bring one. I prayed and asked God which sweatshirt to take. It was a small thing to pray about, but I listened and in my spirit, I felt led to bring two. Afterwards, on two separate occasions, Laila also prayed for me to bring her flowers, and without knowing her prayers, I did both times. Every sign was a beautiful confirmation that God was amid our story from the very beginning and we thank Him for every one of them. Since then, God has continued to reaffirm our relationship in countless ways. It quickly felt as if we were dating our best friend, someone who understands, supports, and brings out the best in us. Despite our cultural differences, God has beautifully united our families and filled our relationship with understanding, joy, and a love that reflects His grace. He remains the foundation of our love, guiding every step we take together. We encourage one another to grow closer to Him daily, keeping Christ at the center of all we do.
