Matthew and Kya’s story started on August 5th, 2023, after matching on Snapchat. What started as a simple conversation quickly turned into nonstop talking, and it immediately felt easy and natural. Not long after, Matthew asked Kya to hang out, and she said yes. For their first time together, they drove around Utah Lake, just talking and enjoying the moment. Later that night, they went to a lookout in Draper and ended up sitting there for hours, getting to know each other, laughing, and realizing they didn’t want the night to end. Soon after, Matthew planned an actual date and took Kya back to the lake for a picnic with snacks, games, and lots of laughs. Before the night was over, they shared their first kiss, something neither of them will ever forget. Only ten days later, on August 17th, they officially became a couple. It might seem fast to some people, but for them it felt right. The connection was there from the start, and they trusted it. Now, almost three years later, that random Snapchat conversation turned into a forever kind of love. Matthew and Kya are getting married and can’t wait to celebrate with the people they love most.
