What kind of attire is required?

Answer

Semi-formal or cocktail is requested for the wedding.

What time should I arrive at City Hall?

Answer

Please arrive between 1:30m and 1:45pm. There is a small security checkpoint that could take some time if there are a lot of people visiting City Hall. Everyone will meet inside just after the checkpoint and proceed to the Mayor’s Balcony together.

What is the parking like?

Should we proceed directly to the Mayor’s Balcony?

Answer

In effort to help everyone find the Mayor’s Balcony, where the wedding will take place, our dear friend Megan will be meeting everyone just inside the lobby, and at at 2pm will be guiding all guests to their seating.

What time does the wedding begin?

Answer

The wedding will begin around 2:15pm

Will there be seating?

Answer

The Mayor’s Balcony allows seating for 40 and standing room for 60. We are anticipating between 35 and 50 guests. Please allow immediate family in the front rows and allow seats for anyone with special needs, or that cannot stand for up to 30 minutes. Once the seats are full some guests will stand during the ceremony, which will be around 30 minutes long.

Will there be sides for the bride and groom?

We want you to pick a seat not a side, as we are each glad to have you present for our special day!

Can I take pictures with my cell phone during the wedding?

Answer

The bride and groom respectfully ask that you keep your cell phone on silent and leave the photos to the photography team during the wedding. We will have a couple of photo opportunities where you will be invited to snap a quick photo but outside of that please just enjoy the moment with us :)

Is the baseball game the reception?

Answer

Yes, in lieu of a traditional reception the bride and groom will be taking their guests to see each of their favorite teams play each other.

Do I need to purchase a ticket to the game?

Answer

No, tickets will be provided. You’ll receive your ticket, which includes a $25 meal voucher for use during the game, after the ceremony.

What time is the baseball game?

Begins at 6:40, bride and groom will meet guests at 6pm in Willie Mays Plaza.

Is formal attire required for the baseball game?

Answer

Not at all! There is time between the wedding and game for guests to relax and change if they would like. We suggest representing whichever team you support! The bride and groom will remain in their formal attire. Please bring something warm and/or a blanket as it gets very chilly in the evenings at the ballpark that time of year!

Who is playing at the game?

The game is between the San Francisco Giants (bride’s team) and the San Diego Padres (groom’s team).

Will dinner be provided?

Answer

Your ticket for the game includes a $25 voucher that can be used on any food or Sri k on the park you wish! Any additional food or drink costs will be up to the individual guest.

Can I take pictures at the game?

Answer

PLEASE DO! The professional photographer will only be present for the wedding ceremony and formal pictures after. We would love it if you would snap away during the game/reception and share your photos with us!

Where should I stay?

Answer

The bride and groom, along with their families will be staying at The Hotel Adagio. We welcome any guests to choose to stay there as well but please feel free to seek other accomodation within the city! There are tons of lovely hotel options to choose from.

Will there be any pre-wedding events?

Answer

There are no specific or planned wedding events outside of the wedding itself and the game. However the bride and groom, and some of their families, will be arriving in San Francisco on Saturday (9/23) night. That means we will be out and about in the city and would love to spend time with any guests that also come to town ahead of the wedding. Activities tbd. Please feel free to make it your time as well and see any of the cool sights around the city, there is a page on this website with a list of places and things to do.
