Located on Mount Royal’s northern slope, St. Joseph’s Oratory is a magnificent basilica and a site of pilgrimage. Its large dome is the second largest in the world, offering impressive views of the city. The church is also known for its peaceful gardens and serene atmosphere.
No trip to Montreal is complete without an overstuffed smoked meat sandwich from one of its famous delis. Schwartz's is arguably the most famous, and it is worth standing in line for. Hate the idea of waiting in line for food? (Us too!) Try Lester's Deli on Bernard for a quieter, but just as delicious, experience.

This museum has great works by Picasso, Monet, Renoir, and is a great place to spend some time right in the heart of Montreal.
