Matt and Kayla met in 2008 after Kayla moved to Grinnell with her family, The two started "dating" (unofficially) in 2014. Matt asked Kayla to be his girlfriend (officially) 2017. They welcomed their surprise baby, Mayson into the world on 8-9-18 and their little girl, Tinsley on 12-15-20. Matt shocked Kayla June 2022 when he FINALLY proposed at Banning State Park (MN) while on vacation. We may be a bit untraditional on the way "things should be done" but we have built a life we love and we can't wait to share with all our family and friends as we commit our love to each other for forever.
