Matthew and Kayla met at the State University of New York, Cortland in the Spring of 2018. They were introduced through a mutual friend, and spent the next year and a half building their friendship together. The night of their College Graduation, Matt walked Kayla home from the bar, and they said goodbye for what they thought would be the last time. Little did they know, fate had a different plan for them. One year later, Matt had accepted a work project on Long Island and Kayla messaged him asking to get a drink to catch up.
