FAQs

Question

What about COVID?

Answer

NY state is rapidly changing restrictions for weddings. Please keep checking back here as our day gets closer. Our venue will be enforcing these restrictions and we have no ability to make exceptions. Updated 5/19/21, currently our venue requires all guests to show proof of vaccination against covid or proof of a negative covid test, either by a PCR test taken within 72 hours of the event or by a rapid test taken within 6 hours of the event. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND VACCINATION AS THERE ARE LIMITED TESTING OPTIONS IN THE ADIRONDACK REGION. Currently, NY does not have any travel restrictions or quarantine requirements for asymptomatic guests travelling from out of state, regardless of vaccination status. Please see below for mask requirements.

Question

Do I need to bring a mask?

Answer

NY lifted their mask mandate for vaccinated people. If you show proof of vaccination (at least two weeks after Johnson & Johnson, or at least two weeks after a second dose of Pfizer or Moderna) you will not be required to wear a mask at any point during our wedding. You may still wear one if you prefer. Local businesses may require masks still, so bringing a mask for your trip is recommended. Unvaccinated people will be required to wear a mask at all times except when seated to eat or drink. Additionally, NY state requires unvaccinated guests to be seated in a separate section of the venue.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire. The ceremony will be outside on the grass, so use caution if wearing high heels.

Question

How do I get there?

Answer

Please visit our Travel page for more information.

Question

Should I take an uber to the venue?

Answer

Wilmington is a remote area in the mountains, so uber and lyft are pretty scarce! We do not recommend relying on these services for transportation.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We respectfully request no children under twelve years old.

Question

Can I take photos and videos?

Answer

We ask that you refrain from taking photos or videos until after the ceremony. You are welcome to take photos and videos anytime afterwards!
