Savannah and Katie met when they were 18 and were assigned as roommates while volunteering as Student Naturalists. They soon became friends and eventually moved to San Luis Obispo together. Savannah was the engagement photographer for Katie and Matt, and has created custom jewelry for the wedding.

Introduced through Savannah, Katie and Braella became quick friends, bonding over silly jokes, music, and general goofiness. They have known each other going on 8 years!
Leslie

Leslie met Katie and Savannah when the three of them ended up as neighbors in the student apartments in San Luis Obispo. Leslie and Katie share a love of cooking and baking, and Leslie is even making the wedding cake!
Lauren

Lauren is Matt’s younger sister, and is the same age as Katie. She has been a large part of welcoming Katie to the Metelitz family! She and Katie have known each other almost as long as Katie and Matt have been together.

We all know and love Mel! As Katie’s sister, Mel has had to take most of Katie’s wedding panic and craziness! Mel is also the only person to have absolute veto power over Katie’s wedding dress choice. Mel and Matt have been great friends since they were first introduced, making Matt an easy addition to the Sivils family.
Dakota

Matt and Dakota have been friends since he first came to California to visit his girlfriend's family. It turns out, that girlfriend is Matt's sister. Dakota is as much a part of the Metelitz family as Matt is and he is loved very much.
Tommy
Best Man
Tommy and Matt met when they were paired as roommates at UC Davis. They graduated at the middle of their class with mostly B's and C's and have backpacked through Europe together. Tommy is just as much a friend to Matt as he is to Katie and the three of them have shared many memories over the years. Matt and Katie love you Tommy!
Dillon
Best Man
Dillon and Matt met in high school and are pals for life. Dillon has achieved the rank of Gladiator in World of Warcraft and has also achieved the rank of Best Man in Matt and Katie's wedding. He is basically a part of the Metelitz family and is treated as such. Over the years, he has been a great friend to Katie and Matt and continues to be.
Kevin
Groomsman
Kevin has known Matt for roughly 21 years! Kevin is Matt's friend and brother and the two of them love to hang out, play video games, and ride bikes just like they did when they were kids. Kevin has been incredibly welcoming of Katie into the family and is taller than Matt.
Tyler
Groomsman
Tyler and Matt met in 9th grade and when they weren't running away from church camp counselors for skipping church, they were playing games and making each other laugh. That spirit of friendship continues to this day. Tyler is a fan favorite of the Metelitz family and is always making Katie and Matt laugh when they are together. He's also easy on the eyes.
Cody

In high school, Cody and Matt would alternate sleeping over at each other's houses almost every weekend! They met through groomsman Mikey and the three of them were inseparable during this time. Cody was one of the first of Matt's friends to meet Katie and is one of Valencia's finest YouTubers.
Mikey
Groomsman
Mikey and Matt have been best friends since high school. Mikey, Matt, and Cody basically lived at each other's houses growing up and bonded over dirt-biking and World of Warcraft. Although he lives across the country, he remains close friends with Katie and Matt. They don't get to see each other often, but when they do, they make it count.
