Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Whats the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

What if the weather is bad?

Answer

The Bride and Groom are hoping for perfect weather and the ceremony will be located outside at Promise Point. Look for all the pumpkins. In the case of bad weather the ceremony will be moved inside to the Great Room

Will there be alcohol served at the wedding ?

Answer

Yes there is going to be an open bar during cocktail hour. The bar will then become a cash bar during dinner and reopen to an open bar at 8pm. The bar will remain open until 11pm when it returns to a cash bar.

What is the schedule of events?

Answer

There is a full schedule page. However, key notes: seating for the ceremony will not begin until 4:30 pm and the ceremony will begin at 5 pm. Everything is conveniently located at Lake Lawn Resort. The staff can help direct you where you need to go. Feel free to ask them for help.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

No. The bride and groom request this event to be adults only. Please enjoy a night out without the kids.

What is the COVID situation in Delavan?

Answer

December 2020, COVID-19 cases in our city have been trending down, so much so that the city was able to lift the mandatory mask mandate, effective June 1st. If you are more comfortable in a mask feel free, currently they are not required.

Are masks required?

Answer

Currently in Delavan, there is no mandatory mask mandate for businesses. That being said, we want to encourage masks being worn for our unvaccinated guests! If you are vaccinated, masks are not required, but feel free to wear it you’d like.
