The St. Simons Island Pier Village is a popular Golden Isles destination to spend time among both locals and visitors. Nestled next to the St. Simons Island Pier, Pier Village is not only packed with shops and restaurants to explore, but is home to many events and other adventures. The pier overlooks St. Simons Sound, and it's a great place to spot dolphins along the coast and an occasional massive cargo ship passing by on its way to the Port of Brunswick. This is also where you will find the St. Simons Lighthouse. Climb 129 steps to the top of the St. Simons Island Lighthouse for stunning views of the St. Simons Sound.
The most popular beach accesses with the most parking are the U.S. Coast Guard Station and Massengale Park. Depending on the tide, you can even access the southern point of East Beach at Pier Village. This is a great location to bike and fish at low tide, providing easy access to the village shops and the Neptune Park Fun Zone.
Palm Coast coffee is an island favorite serving great coffee, casual food, sweets, craft beer, wine & spirits.
Matt's favorite! A casual, family-friendly oyster bar & seafood restaurant with coastal American cuisine. In addition to their full bar, check out their Specialty Cocktails & Oyster Shooters!
No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem! Beachcomber BBQ is a great beach BBQ and Bar hangout. Located a block from beautiful St Simon’s East Beach, Beachcomber is cooking up slow smoked BBQ served with a relaxed beach vibe!
Our favorite on the island! Both the Reaveses and the Thomases have to visit Fiddlers at least once per trip! They don't take reservations, so we recommend getting there early if you have a large group.
The Crab Trap offers a very nautical, casual, and rustic atmosphere. Matt & Kate's favorite is the crab soup & blackened scallops!
Great place to stop in for a drink. Check out their live music and happy hour specials!
Family owned & operated microbrewery specializing in craft beer, craft cocktails, and a fun coastal menu. Great place to get a drink before or while waiting on your table at Crab Trap or Crabdaddys (right across the street).
