Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be at the Hawthorne Hotel. The hotel has 2 parking lots on a first come first serve basis. There is also street parking and parking garages around Salem within walking distance.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see the travel and lodging section for hotel block information. Unfortunately the Salem area will be packed around Halloween, so we recommend reserving one of these rooms sooner rather than later. There may be alternative options for hotel in the nearby towns (Peabody, Beverly, etc.) or AirBnBs, but these will start to fill up as well once Halloween approaches.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Because our hotel blocks are located several miles from the venue, we are providing van/shuttle service from these hotels. Please let us know if you plan on staying at these hotels so we can get a general headcount in advance.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love kids, we ask that this event be adults only.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Please keep in mind that October (especially Halloween) is NUTS in Salem. We recommend arriving early and to consider other modes of transportation.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal, no strict dress code. Recommended color palette is gold, black, evergreen and robin egg blue.
