A Wednesday in fall 2018, Matthew and Kansas strolled into the Starry Night Cafe on their first date. Kansas remembered Matthew as the boy who had the great handshake. They spent the day together, talking about life, their families, their goals. Just as Matthew was bringing Kansas home, he pulled her in for their first kiss. Kansas told him "Finally! I was wondering when you'd do that!" The two of them decided to keep the date going, and went to a party together, where they drank wine, and danced the night away. At the end of the night, Kansas was dizzy with how much Matthew kept spinning her. The rest, is history!
