Sarah and Kaitlyn met in 2013. How does the saying go? You have to love your family, but you don’t have to like them? That was true for this pair until 2019 after a random trip to Dollywood. That’s where all great southern love stories start right? Sarah lives in Asheville with her fur children Sasha & Apollo. “Sarah Kaplan, forever my sister. I couldn’t have done any of this life without you. You make the darkest days brighter…or at least funnier. The way you love is so fierce and admirable. I look up to you in ways you’ll never know. Kaitlyn & Bri meet when Kaitlyn trained Briana on K9 Oncology at Mission Hospital. They didn’t immediately become friends though, bonding randomly after discovering a mutual love of Noah Kahan, the pair has been inseparable ever since. Briana lives right outside of Asheville, with her fur babies Honey & Bru. (Unfortunately Honey & Bru had to decline their invitation and will not be in attendance) “Briana will always be the friend I never imagined I’d have but now that I do I couldn’t imagine a day without her. Her compassion is unmatched, her friendship is irreplaceable. She is sunshine in human form.” -K

Zakarie & Kaitlyn met in line for the restroom at a bar in downtown Asheville. The two immediately clicked after a 45 second conversation. They bonded over a mutual love of GRIZ & food and have been inseparable ever since. Did we just become best friends? Yes, yes we did. Zakarie & her pup Charlie live in Waynesville. “Zak, thank you for being such a pillar in my life. You have been there at my lowest and cheered on all my highs. The memories I have with you are some of the best I’ve ever made. You make me a better person. You know, Shrek... when we first met, I didn't think you were a big, stupid, ugly ogre. I love you. -K
