I’ll fly away on a trip to your heart.

Joe and I met on this oh so classy app called Tinder. After talking for a couple of weeks, I finally found the courage to ask him out and he surprisingly agreed. We decided to go on our first date at NXNW in Austin and I remember coming into the restaurant and seeing this handsome guy sitting there waiting for me. We had dinner and it was like we had known each other forever. The day after we met, Joe left to go to Michigan to see his family for a couple of weeks. We talked back and forth when he was gone and were anxious to see each other again. Joe came back from Michigan late one night, after a long exhausting plane ride, he called me to let me know he made it back safely and quickly realized that his car battery was dead. He was going to call AAA for a jump, but I insisted on coming out to help and jump his car. Obviously, because I just wanted to see him again. After that night we both knew that we wanted to continue seeing each other. So here we are today getting married!

We were in the process of building our first home and Joe wanted me to meet him there to show it to our friend Sarah for the first time. I remember pulling up to the house and Joe was out front waiting to meet me. I saw our friend Sarah in the back of the home looking around. As I walked into the house I saw some balloons in the soon to be kitchen area. My first thought was Sarah brought us a house warming gift. As I walked closer I noticed that the balloons were tied to a picture of our soon to be completed home. Next thing I know Joe was on one knee with a ring box in his hand and asked me to marry him! I have never been so happy in my life.
