Buzzing, searching, swiping, scrolling the internet of the social on-line dating apps, through "bumble" we finally found a match. For this particular app the female bee must strike the first conversation, and with her whitty nature and persuasive linguistics Jodi opened with "hi".... but that's all it took. Conversations over work life, family, friends, football and fishing led to easy, open and honest conversations that eventually led to their first date. Where Matt tried to take her out for a nice dinner of sushi but Jodi insisted on beer and pizza! Let's just say their dinner dates with beer and pizza are still ongoing!

For months, little did Jodi know that Matt had his great grandmothers ring and was waiting for the moment to see what she might say. There were many times that Jodi was convinced Matt was going to propose...maybe at Thanksgiving with both the families together or in Ohio for the annual Dressig Christmas Party or maybe Christmas Day....but nope Matt had other plans! With a few friends and family gathered at their house on New Years Eve 2018 Matt made his move and got down on one knee!
