Where is the wedding being held?

Answer

Our venue is Rust Manor House in Leesburg, Virginia. The house was built in the early 1900s and is currently owned by the NOVA Parks system. The ceremony will be held in the garden behind the house, then a cocktail hour will be held in the manor itself, and the reception will take place in a large tent to the side of the house.

What time is the wedding taking place?

Answer

We are still working out the particulars of the schedule, but we are aiming to have the ceremony start around 4:30 and the reception will end at around 10. Please check back for a more detailed schedule later.

What's the parking situation?

Answer

Ample parking is available onsite. There is a smaller lot immediately in front of the manor house and more immediately across the road.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The event will be cocktail attire, but we invite you to choose whatever makes you feel fun and fancy. We are vintage fashion lovers ourselves, if you want a theme to steer toward. The house and tent are heated, but the ceremony will be held outside, so a light jacket or shawl is advised if you get cold. Also, we will be having swing dance music (with a beginner lesson), if you want to wear or bring dance shoes.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

We will have a plated meal from Blue Heron catering with a few options to choose from for main courses. We will strive to make selections that cover a broad range of dietary preferences.
