Are the ceremony and the reception at the same venue?

Answer

Yes. Our ceremony will be held in the Magnolia Ballroom located on the third floor of the Magnolia hotel, followed by a cocktail hour outside the ballroom. The reception will be located on the second floor in the Hotel lounge area.

What time does the ceremony start?

Answer

5:00 pm CT

What is the dress code for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Black tie optional. Example: midi-floor length dresses for women and men can wear dark colored suits or a tuxedo if preffered.

Is there parking on site?

Answer

The hotel is valet only. If you are staying at the hotel, overnight valet is $54 per night. Valet for the wedding only is $20 per vehicle. There is also metered parking located across the street and garages throughout downtown that are not affiliated with the hotel. Ride share services are strongly encouraged to ensure the safety of all guests for a fun-filled night!

Will there be a room block at the hotel?

Answer

Yes! We will have a room block at a discounted rate for guests traveling in or simply wanting to avoid the hassle of driving home. Please check under the travel tab to book your stay at the Magnolia.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

As much as we adore your kids, we kindly ask that our wedding be children-free. You deserve a night off to celebrate with us! We will have our flower girls and ring bearers be a part of our ceremony only. Thank you for understanding!

Can we take pictures at the ceremony?

Answer

Hang up and hang out. We will have a professional photographer and videographer to capture all the special moments throughout our ceremony. Soak up the raw moments and let the professionals take care of it :)

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited capacity at our venue, only guests specified in their invitation are allowed a plus 1.

Is there a seating chart for the reception?

Answer

No. We will have a combination of formal tables, cocktail tables, and lounge seating throughout our reception floor. We encourage our guests to eat when they please, grab a beverage, and meet us on the dance floor to dance the night away!
