The Lafayette Hotel and Club
Such a fun maximalist place to visit and see whether if it's for a quick cup of coffee, a few drinks, a dinner, or a fancy overnight stay! There are three different bars inside this hotel that are open to the public. This is a great place to have fun with others and play some ski ball at The Gutter.
Blind Lady Ale House
Our favorite spot for home made pizzas and refreshing beers. Catch us here on a day off or holiday...or after the optometrist.
Pomegranate
Insanely delicious Eastern European cuisine (Russian, Georgian, Ukrainian). You have to try the khachapuri!
San Diego Zoo
It's world famous for a reason. Fun Fact: Jess' first job was here!
Meshuggah Shack
Amazing iced coffees! Our favorite is the "Dirty Gurl."
Sycamore Den
The bar we walked to on our first date when Matt pulled Jess up to dance while a live band played.
Muzita Abyssinian Bistro
Our favorite Ethiopian restaurant, great for vegetarian (and non-vegetarian) folk.
Mitch's Seafood
Amazing seafood, our go-to for clam chowder and Mexican seafood cocktail (coctel campechano). See us there Monday after the wedding!
Panama 66
A fun outdoor restaurant in front of the Sculpture Garden in Balboa Park. You can spend all day walking around the park and the museums. The Botanical Garden was recently renovated and just reopened!
