Best Man
Luke and I go all the way back to the nursery days in the church where we used to fight over toys and get in trouble. Luke has been my friend ever since I can remember, he is by far my favorite drummer in the world. If you want to make him smile just greet him with the title "pocket-master". I'm excited to finally bring him to California after 4 years of trying, maybe he will never want to leave...
Groomsman
Isaiah is my (Jessalyn) little brother, even though he's much taller than me. When Isaiah was little he would grab a broom stick and stand outside mine or Desiree's door saying he was our minion and was at our command. And if we made him upset Isaiah wouldn't hesitate to hurdle the broom at us. Now he is my minion for my wedding party and I couldn't imagine my wedding day without my little bro <3.
Groomsman
Vince has been my roommate since going to Christian Life College for three out of the four years we attended, and in that time he became my closest friend there. He is a Stocktonian, born and raised, is Italia proud, and makes his presence known whenever he enters the room. I know he will bring the crazy/fun to the wedding party.
Groomsman
Angel is a friend who I met accidentally at CLC, and ended becoming one of my closest friends to-date. This guy is probably the biggest foodie I know, which is good for me because he brings me to all the bomb places to eat. Expect to be greeted with a "hey guyssss" when he comes by, and for many smiles because he could make anyone laugh without effort.
Groomsman
There's one phrase to describe Daniel, he is a character. Daniel was my roommate Junior year at CLC, and before rooming together we probably only talked max three times. Daniel has become a great friend to me and if I was given the chance I would room with him again in a heartbeat, well not anymore because I'm gaining the best roommate ever ;). Make sure you meet Daniel, and ask him to hit the "God said yes" note.
Groomsman
Alex Acosta, there's truly nobody like him. Alex has been a close friend to me ever since meeting him at CLC, people like him are in "short" supply. He is definitely the craziest groomsman in the party, but with that he will be bringing the humor that makes you shake your head and laugh. One word of advice, do not bring up politics with him unless you want to enter in to a two hour conversation.
Maid of Honor
There is truly no one like Dez, she is wild, funny, and sweet. She is a trendsetter with all her catchy words or phrases, ask her to say one if you spot her. She is the life of the party and unforgettable. Dez is a year and a half older than me and growing up alongside her was always a blast, you never knew what the adventure was going to be or if she was going to beat you up. Although she is seemingly shy, Dez loves having fun and engaging in deep conversations. I'm happy to have my big sis by my side on my big day. For anyone who plans to ask her "When are you getting married?" I'll give you her answer, "When it's God's timing." Instead, ask her about the missions trip she wants to take next summer!
Bridesmaid
Iya is my close cousin from when we were little, we played barbies and made choreography dances to a million songs. Especially for her favorites Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber. She is my cuter twin, we would get confused for each other a lot growing up. Mariah is one of the BIGGEST dog-lovers I know, well a lover of all animals in general. She plans to have a farm of her own one day with a horse named Blue Jeans (iykyk). If you want to see some of the coolest wall art ask her to show you pictures of her old room!
Bridesmaid
When I think of a description of a servant for the things of God, I think of Sophia. Phia is a willing, loving, committed, above-and-beyond type of girl. She is fun-size and is NOT Mexican, she is ITALIAN. She loves baking cupcakes and making anyone smile. Sophia is the one I can ALWAYS count on. She is quick to deny it, but she is absolutely amazing at anything she does. She even makes beautiful little things you can find on her ig page @cosabella__boutique!
Bridesmaid
I met Angela in the 7th grade, I got close to her because I was always in our class' lunch detention for incomplete work and I would see her in there a lot, but she was just there for fun. I would procrastinate and talk to her and as I got to know her I began to admire her. First, because she actually chose to be in a classroom during lunch, but also because she is so hardworking and genuine. She helped me do better in school and be a better person in general. Follow her amazing art page on IG, @angelart.que!
Bridesmaid
Say it with me! MEH-DAH-DEES. There ya go, you are a step ahead in making her impressed if you can pronounce her name. My dad just calls her "M". She places her orders under the name "Mary". Meraris is one of my besties in the whole world, we are almost the same person. We love the same things and have the same sense of humor. We laugh at almost everything and even nothing. She is a Starbucks barista and a cool cucumber type of gal. Attempt to pronounce her name and see how close you get to saying right!
Bridesmaid
Liz is the definition of a "ride-or-die" a true friend. She will be there until the end. I roomed with Liz three years out of my 4 years at CLC, and she always knew I had a slight crush on Matt that I was quick to deny. She always knew. Liz is a true comedian and will remember the little things about you. She is very accomplished and one of those millennials that probably watched MTV and Hilary Duff movies/shows growing up. Be sure to thank her for planting a seed in our relationship that has now led to our marriage!
