Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are at the Southport Community Building at 223 E Bay St, Southport, NC 28461. The ceremony will be held outside (weather permitting) and the reception will be indoors.

Will you provide a shuttle to and from the wedding?

Answer

Yep! We will have a shuttle picking up from hotels and returning at the end of the night. The shuttle will also drop guests off at the after party. Please be on time! First pickup is at 3:45pm at Comfort Suites Pickup around 3:55pm at Hampton Inn Pickup around 4:05pm at Fairfield Inn Pickup around 4:15pm at Wingate (driver might drop of at Southport then circle back for you) We will provide a shuttle to Throw Baxe for the after party at 11pm. Gary (driving the fun bus!) will circle back to pick up anyone going back to the hotels around 11:15pm. The shuttle will take all late-night partygoers back to the hotels at 2am.

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail/semi-formal attire. Have fun with it! ... just don't wear jeans or flip-flops. The ceremony will be held on a wooden deck and the reception will be indoors.

Are children invited?

Answer

Besides our nieces and nephews, this will be an adults-only wedding. We love all of your kiddos but we want you to be able to let down your hair, kick back, and enjoy a night off. So hire that babysitter or ship them off to grandma's house, we're going dancing!

Do you have a hotel block? Where should I stay?

Answer

Yes! We have several hotel blocks in Southport. Please see the Hotels and Travel tab at the top of our website for hotel information.

I have dietary restrictions or food allergies. What kind of food will you have?

Answer

We have made every effort to provide meal options for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free guests. If you have a specific concern and want to discuss it, please reach out!

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

The venue is located halfway between the MYR airport and the ILM airport. MYR is a larger airport and typically has much more frequent (and more affordable) flights. Check both though. Kayak is a great search engine. Reach out if you need assistance.

Is there a recommended car service to get to/from the airport?

Answer

Yes! First, if you need a ride, please let us know! We are happy to try to coordinate an airport pickup/drop-off. If you would rather book a car service, we recommend The Transporter.
